Beer, BBQ and bands – what more can you ask for? Well if the answer is nowt, then the Smo•Fo•Pit•Stop might just be your racket.

Born from a collab between Smo•Fo Smoked Foods and Atropos, the monthly pop-up event will transform the unassuming Summit House car-park on Eyre Street into a BBQ lovers paradise from 30 March – 1 April

Visitors will be treated to a selection of smoked bar snacks curated by renowned butcher and chef Simon Barnes, who will be serving up a mouthwatering selection from brisket to his signature vegan chilli. There will also be a bar stocking fine local beers from Sentinel Brewhouse and Abbeydale Brewery, handpicked to compliment the food on display, while Kelham Island’s Modular Moods will be on cocktail duty.

Finally, just to sweeten the deal, some the region’s best bluesy bands will provide the soundtrack to proceedings. Confirmed so far are The Fargo Railroad Co, Liam Walker & the Nevison Gang and Julian Jones.
