In memory of beloved coach Paul Murray-Stringer, there will be a day of Roller Derby fixtures taking place at Ponds Forge tomorrow. All funds raised will be going to Weston Park Hospital Charity.
With triple-header of fixtures, the event (12-7pm) will be showcasing the skills of the city’s roller derby teams.
Here’s how the fixtures line up:
The day will start with the Sheffield Steel Junior Roller Derby as The Ssjraardvarks take on The Octopodies, follwed by Hallam Hellcats taking on challenge team The First Ladies, and finally The final game of the day will see The Inhuman League taking on The Paul Stars – a challenge team made up of lots of Paul’s friends.
Aside from some blistering action, there will be merch stalls, cakes and goodies, plus a raffle taking place.
