On Wednesday 2 October, STAR will be returning to the Yellow Arch Studios with another programme of events to keep everyone busy. Last year, STAR raised just over £5000 which was donated to local organisations in Sheffield that provide help, support and safety to asylum seekers and refugees. Carrying forward this momentum, STAR have invited some of your favourite local party starters down to the Yellow Arch Studios again. From 11pm till 4am, expect bassy vibes with a mix of reggae, dub and jungle from the night’s line-up which includes performances from 1KEY Events, Peachy Events, University of Sheffield Reggae Society and SteelSelektions. As ever, all profit from the night will be donated to Sheffield-based charities that form an essential part of the Asylum Seeker and Refugee support network. This includes Conversation Club, Women’s Conversation Club and South Yorkshire Refugee Law And Justice.
