Mike Skinner will make his return to Sheffield at the end of this month, days after announcing his nationwide Streets reunion tour. Bringing him to the O2  will be festival favourites and the self-proclaimed “21st century’s Moulin Rouge”

The iconic DJ and producer will play the venue on October 31st, alongside Weaver Bros and the Cirque du Soul resident DJs.

16 years have passed since Mike Skinner released his seminal album “Original Pirate Material”, which he recorded and produced in a small flat in south London using mattresses and duvets to reduce echo. The Streets enjoyed success for 5 years after that producing numerous mainstream hits and garnering worldwide attention. In 2011 Mike retired to his DJing, finding a little success in side project The D.O.T alongside  long-time collaborator Rob Harvey.

Fast forward to 2017, MSkinner hasn’t had what many would deem a retirement. A busy touring schedule behind the decks has seen him grace Sheffield with his unique mixing style and melancholy selections on numerous occasions. There is evidently no let up with his Streets reunion tour announced just last week.

It’s set to be a huge bash with spooky immersive theatre, circus performers, huge production, amazing decor, confetti, face painting and much, much more!
