Sheffield’s Lord Mayor Magid Magid is hosting a huge New Year’s Eve do at Plug with some of Sheffield’s brightest talents on the bill.
Some of the acts on the bill are Steve Edwards, Otis Mensah, Siobhan Gallagher, Franz Von, Unscene, InaVibe, Matic Mouth, Club Shefficana and Eneta & Sharon, plus DJ sets from Deadbeat UK, Winston Hazel, DJ DMK, Scumfam, Dub Central, The Tribes., DJ Manic, Shanty Town Selectas, Madden UK, Filla From Manilla, DJ Cardiac, Papa Al and Tdx.
The event is aiming to raise £100,000 for Magid’s chosen charities. Taking to his Facebook page to announce the bash, Magid said: “New Year’s Eve – overrated, expensive and underwhelming? NOT THIS YEAR. Be. Excited. NYE. 2018. This night will celebrate all things Sheffield and will be hosted by myself. Come down for multiple rooms of music, party bangers, live performances!”
Tickets start from £6, and all profits will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charities, with an aim to meet his fundraising target of raising £100,000. Head to the-plug.com for information on tickets.
