Inner City is a socially-conscious events and wedding company in the north of England. Based in Sheffield, they organise and style pop-up weddings in independently run spaces. They organise weddings in over ten different venues, but their main spot and spiritual home is at the iconic Abbeydale Picture House where they have held many memorable ceremonies and hosted unique banquets in the Grade II listed building’s beautiful back room.
The company also runs the Indie Wedding Fair which supports small businesses and independents in Sheffield, Manchester and York.
Their main aim is to grow a more ethical wedding industry that gives people in the community more opportunities and pushes for authentic, relaxed, humble, that focus on love, great music, amazing food and dancing plus great winter wedding venues.
The impact that a global pandemic has had on the events industry this year is nothing short of catastrophic; so it’s now more important than ever before to support these hardworking creative businesses, who in turn can help to keep the doors open for historic local buildings here to serve our communities.
