Fancy getting out of Sheff for the weekend? Hull’s largest annual music festival will be returning on 2-3 August with its biggest ever line-up.
Spanning over two days, the Humber Street Sesh is expected to attract tens of thousands of music and food lovers. The festival will take place at Hull Marina, which will be divided into two sites.
Friday night will take place solely on the West Marina, with the east side then opening up to create a larger showground for Saturday night. The festival director, Mark Page, said that there are lots of exciting plans for Sesh 2019 and that they are very grateful to the Spencer Group for once again granting permission to use the West Marina.
The expanded site proved hugely successful last year, enabling an improved offer and fully-fledged festival experience. Friday night, which will encompass Humber Quays and the scrubland area south of Wellington Street West, will see performances from The Hunna, Yonaka, The Blinders, Life, King No One and many more.
On Saturday night, the festival site will expand into the east side where more than 200 performers will take to the stage. The Saturday line-up includes The Hubbards, Marsicians, Lumer, Of Allies, Three Day Millionaires plus many more.
Throughout the course of the festival, food will be available from local providers such as Ambiente, Humber Fish Co, Shoot The Bull, Dope Burger, Cascara and many more. Advance individual day tickets cost £15 and weekend tickets cost £25. Under-12s on Saturday can enter free with a full-paying adult. Friday night is an over-14s only event, with those aged 16 and under to be accompanied by an adult. Saturday is open to people of all ages.
