It has been just over a month since Decibel welcomed R&S Records signee and Magicwire bossman Lone to the Harley for his Sheffield debut and now they’re delivering the goods once again.

This time Decibel invite San Francisco’s big beat maker Charlie Duff, also known as, Matrixxman with support from Pretty Pretty Good regular Austen and their trusted residents. In addition, Decibel’s visual jockey Zaron Mizmeras will be ever present providing weird and wonderful visuals all night long.

With previous events covering a multitude of underground genres in the house and techno realms this one will be homing in on the darker side of techno. Stripped back, subtle but heaving hitting sounds, synonymous with the infamous Berghain; that sound is exactly what alien loving sci-fi fanatic Matrixxman does best.

Not only is Matrixxman an exquisite DJ, but his productions are off the chain – with a steady output of EPs on labels such as Dekmantel, Planet Rhythm and Delft – his work has been appreciated by huge figures such as DVS1, Larry Heard and Jeff Mills. Should you need clarification from others that should certainly do it!

Tickets for Matrixxman at the Harley this Friday November 16th are available for £8 .
