FRIDAY 26TH
Dekmantel Soundsystem, San Proper and more Hope Works
This very dutch affair sees Rush Hour royalty and resident weirdo San Proper join Dekmantel Soundsystem, a duo whose reputation has grown enormously since they begun touring heavily in the wake of the rise of their festival, label and mix series. Expect varied sets of the finest house, techno, disco, electro, italo and world music. 
Muzik: Alan Fitzpatrick, Rudosa Code Warehouse
Last year’s Muzik Halloween with Fitzy was so good they decided to do it all over again. For the usually house-y Muzik this is a very heavy and techno-y booking, a perfect fit for the darkest and scariest night of the year. He’s joined by tech-house Manchester staple and former Sankey’s resident, Rudosa.
NLR: Maurice Fulton, Mim Suleiman, Krywald & Farrer, Al Zanders Theatre Deli
Nice Like Rice’s nights are consistently the most extravagantly decorated Halloween nights in Sheffield, with previous guests HNNY, Nightmares on Wax and John Morales having graced the Theatre Deli decks in past years. This year they bring together two Sheffield based musicians with cult followings to the same lineup for the first time, in the shape of the enigmatic Maurice Fulton and the exuberant Suleiman pictured above, who sings live with a DJ. The talented Al Zanders – whose latest EP was recently the first release Roy Davis Jr. has put out in 16 years – also joins the esteemed lineup.

Awesome Tapes from Africa, SNO, Sourdough Bungalows and Bears
This free entry shindig sees the incredible ATFA hit Bungalows with his extensive collection of cassette tapes, which he has acquired over many years, digging across Africa. Many of the more rare and expensive tapes have now been pressed onto vinyl on a label, but it’s those warm and fuzzy DJ sets that really make ATFA stand out as one of the most unique artists out there.

Off Me Nut make their return to the Night Kitchen after five years to team up with Bluewave for a night of happy hardcore, drum ‘n’ bass, grime, dubstep, bassline, donk, jungle and much much more. Expect multiple rooms of the wonkiest tunes all Halloween weekend, and loads of silly spooky decor.

Halloween Freaks Festival 2018: The Uprising Foundry
Sheffield Uni of’s night out on Halloween features five rooms of madness across the Union, as well as Lazerquest, Ball Pits, Robots, giveaways and performers, which is probably why it sold out in minutes, but just like in a zombie apocalypse, where there’s a will there’s a way!
