Since launching in 2016 GALA festival has become an unmissable weekend for any fans of electronic music in the UK. At its inception it was a one day, two stage shindig of house and in South London’s Brockwell Park. What goes down now is a three day extravaganza of electronic music, with over 30,000 fans descending on Peckham Rye Park.

The fiercely independent festival have announced two new stages, with techno, drum’n’bass, garage and bass sounds from around the globe shaking boots from 2pm until 10:30pm across six dancefloors.

Another highly ambitious line up sees Theo Parrish playing open to close on the Friday, alongside Anz and Moodymann. The iconic Patio stage, hosted by the Cause sees The Ghost & Gene On Earth running up their Coast 2 Coast back-to-back-to-back on the Saturday, alongside Panorama Bar staples Prosumer & GIDEÖN.

That isn’t Floating Points’ only involvement – he’s bringing his new Sunflower Soundsystem for its own stage, where a host of DJs and special guests from Plastic People, Melodies International and Cosmic Slop will be testing out its capabilities all weekend.

There’s live music from Caribou, KiNK and Alex Kassian, while Horse Meat Disco take up their annual closing slot in the Pleasure Dome. Afterparties at the Carpet Shop in Peckham run every night til 4am, with dBridge and Surusinghe spinning on the Friday.

Tickets are available here and start at £65.50 for a Friday day ticket.
