Sheffield Doc Fest are once again collaborating with Boiler Room at this year’s festival along with documentary platform 4:3, following last year’s debut at Theatre Deli.
This year’s party will be at Hope Works, celebrating love and resistance following the debut of The Lovers Table, a moving image symposium by artist Lotte Andersen and filmmaker Kazim Rashid. Headlining are London collective Prestige Pak, who showcase club carnival flavours from Jamaica, the UK and beyond. Support comes from Pxssy Palace, a clubnight in London that prioritises women and femmes of colour and other queer, intersex and trans people of colour.
Also supporting is Parisian Louise Chen, whose house productions on Moxie’s On Loop label and monthly NTS show are making a splash in the fashion world.
