Spring & Summer is fast approaching which means garden parties and bbqs, here at Exposed we’re a huge fan of DIY ideas to make your home and garden a little bit snazzier than usual. So we’ve rounded up the best ways to impress your mates and make your house stand out when they’re around!
Now, if you’re like me and scroll through Facebook for hours on end when you get in from a day in the office or uni – you’ll probably see fancy fire-pits and want one, I do all the time! Here’s how you can get one for under £40 and the best bit, it’s hand made!
All you need is:
- Gel Fuel
- Fire Stones
- High Strength Concrete Mix
- 2 Bowls (size can be of your choice)
- Construction wire mesh
Tools:
- Hand shovel
- Rubber Mallet
- Sheet Sander
- Sandpaper
- Oil
- Weights/Rock (to hold the bowl in place)
- Wire Cutters (to cut the mesh)
It really is that simple and it takes just three hours to make! We found a little video made by the guys over at Hometalk with instructions! Let us know how you get on!
