DINA Venue presents Dead [Women] Poets Society an evening of resurrecting dead women poets in Sheffield on 23 January.
Hosted by two Sheffield-based poets, Suzannah Evans and Warda Yassin, the chosen poets to be resurrected will be announced closer to the time of the event.
There will be an open-mic available, which welcomes poets and performers to the stage to share their work and passion. Their one rule is: for every poem of your own, you should also read/perform one by a dead woman or non-binary poet.
Books by the guest poets will be up for grabs, and delicious vegan and vegetarian refreshments will be provided by DINA, as well as brand-new D[W]PS merch will be available to buy.
