Exposed Magazine

Here at Exposed we like to expose (you guessed it), the hottest dance music festivals out there. Enter GALA, London’s intimate disco and house shindig in Peckham Rye Park.

Now in its 3rd edition, GALA is building a rep as one of the best one day festivals around, being named in the Independent’s Best Music Festival Guide. This cosy Bank Holiday festival does away with inner city sound limits by keeping things small and intimate – expect high quality soundsystems and a highly credible line up of DJs from across disco and house music’s lineage.

The main stage sees legends Derrick Carter, Daniele Baldelli, Norman Jay MBE and Greg Wilson bring their esteemed skills on the decks to South London for an education in how to do things properly, while two more stages of fresh talent hosted by Horse Meat Disco and Rhythm Section complete the festival in style. With Honey Dijon, Chaos and the CBD and Bradley Zero amongst the highlights the hype is palpable.Look forward to award-winning BBQ from Slow Ritchies, Maltby Market’s infamous Cheese Truck, fried chicken courtesy of Other Side Fried, and the return of the best-selling “GALA Burger”, from South London stalwarts Honest Burger.  Meanwhile, Peckham’s Brick Brewery will be keeping everyone hydrated with their selection of top-quality beers, alongside craft heavyweights Frontier.
