Local favourite Daisy’s Bar is re-opening its doors on 23 March after a short time-out, armed with a refreshed menu and outlook.
Located above The Great Gatsby, the brains behind Sheff’s first table-service cocktail lounge haven’t been away sipping piña coladas in their hiatus; instead they’ve been focusing on other ventures, most notably the opening of Public – a converted underground toilet. Now however, their efforts have now been turned to the revitalisation of the old-faithful.
Owners the Rockingham Group have been continuously experimenting with their drinking experiences, constantly stepping into more weird and wonderful territory. Daisy’s revival though is rooted in a simple philosophy; why isn’t there a bar in the city that just does the classics?
The new 35-drink menu features all the stand-out bevvies that have inspired the rest of the group’s outlandish creations, in an all-out celebration of the last 100 years of bar culture.
Looking for a new tipple? Daisy’s are now taking bookings for their opening weekend on their website, for more info on the re-opening head over to their socials.
