Exposed Magazine

Code has announced their sets for the winter season, and it’s looking pretty good from where we’re standing.

Here’s what they’ve got lined up for you:

Skream 7 hour set – Open to Close
1/12/2017

Sure, there’s a lot of things you can do in seven hours; write that essay, almost get a decent nights sleep, watch seven episodes of Countryfile. But what fun is that when you could be dancing your arse off to House/ Techno / Disco sounds from king of the extended set Skream a.k.a Oliver Jones. Back once again following last year’s fully sold out run of ‘Open to Close’ events, expect a back-to-basics clubbing experience like the good old days.

Skream says:  ” There’s so much music I buy as a listener that I play on the ‘Open to Close’ tour that I just can’t play during summer festival sets.  I can’t wait to kick the tour off.”

Santa’s North V Midlands V South bar crawl
07/12/17

Santa must be pretty busy guy, what with all the presents on top of organising this huge annual bar crawl. If you’re familiar with the mammoth Freshers North v Midlands v South Bar Crawl, you know what mayhem to expect – with the addition of Christmas cheer.

You can choose between Northern Nutcracker, Midlands Mince Pie or Southern Snowman slogans on your free t-shirt – so it’s clearly an all-seasons fashion investment too.

Muzik Boxing Day all nighter
26/12/17

Headliners are yet to be announced for Code’s Boxing Day blowout, but you can read our interview with Muzik founders earlier this year to see what they’re all about. We’re pretty confident it’s gonna be a good one with these guys behind the wheel.

NYE CamelPhat Denney Eli Brown Jhonsson L&F Projekt
31/12/17

Headliners CamelPhat will be bringing in the new year at Code. You might have heard of the duo from their recent pop crossover hit “Cola” which made it into the UK top 40 chart and got them a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of artists to watch in October.

Student New Years Eve
31/12/2017

Code’s original rooms will be used for the student party – and all you really need to know about this is that all drinks will be £2.50.  Considering most clubs up their prices on NYE that’s good news for those who want to have some loan left for 2018.

The weeklies

Of course, all Code’s flagship weekly club nights will be alive and kicking. The ever selling-out Chaos Tuesdays will still be bringing the carnival to Sheffield, Jump Around Thursday will still be providing the inflatable bananas and Student Saturdays will still be bringing us the top voted night out in the city.

Check CODE’s site for tickets and follow them on Facebook to see updates on ticket availability.
