Kelham Island Museum’s Victorian Christmas Market returns once again this year. Here’s five reasons to head down, don the clobber and make like your name is Archibald…

Unique gifts and local makers
With over 100 market stalls selling an array of Sheffield-made wares, quality gifts and seasonal goods, you’ll find the perfect presents and stocking fillers for your loved ones.

Eat, drink and be merry
Enjoy food and drink from around the world, from traditional hog roast and mulled wine to wood fired pizza and gin cocktails. Relax in the newly-opened Millowners Arms or have a brew in the pop-up vintage Christmas tearoom.

The family fairground
Fun times for everyone including rides, hot chestnuts and other fairground favourites to feast on.

Join in the festive cheer
Magical music and merriment from local brass bands, musicians, choirs and carollers on the Music Hall Stage.

The big fella
You’ll be spoilt for choice with Christmassy crafts in Santa’s Workshop, miniature engine rides on the Kelham Flyer, the return of the Selfie Sleigh plus meet the main man himself in Santa’s Grotto.

Marvel at the museum
Explore the museum’s galleries, learn about Sheffield’s steel story and feel the floor shake as the mighty River Don Engine runs on the hour, every hour!
