#1 The Glastonbury Music Festival
This is the top ranking music festival in the UK. Each year the Glastonbury Music Festival plays host to some of the top-rated musicians from around the world. Musicians perform on the renowned Pyramid Stage which comes to be a theme of the annual event. This year the music festival will have musical acts from The Cure, Gerge Ezra, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus, Tame Impala, The Killers, Janelle Monáe and Stormzy.
While this year’s artists are bound to put up one hell of a show that you should not miss, there are other aspects of the festival that makes it quite unique. For example, the Shangri-La, a district known for its nightlife activities including theatre and high volume electronic music.
If you are a die-hard raver, then the Arcadia is the place to be during this festival. Other side attractions at the festival that will be held at Pilton for five days from the 26th of June to the 30th of June include; a circus featuring magicians, trapeze acts, drag queens and top comedians.
#2: The Latitude Festival
While there are very few pleasures better than playing the best phone games around. However, if you want a bit of fresh air at a scenic British countryside, then you may want to consider attending the Latitude Festival. This festival is ranked second on my top 3 UK music festival list.
The Latitude festival holds for four days in Southwold from the 18th to the 21st of July this year. Experience outdoor fun this summer with the family. There will be a massive children play area with fun rides, inflatable toys, clowns and dance troupes to entertain.
You will enjoy the nice tunes being played by top DJs cleverly disguised in the woods. An opera will be held at the lake and there will be a movie and film debuts at the festival cinema. This year’s musical performances will be from artists and bands such as Primal Scream, Stereophonics, Underworld, Slaves, Anna Calvi, George Ezra, Loyle Carner and Lana Del Rey.
#3: The Boomtown Fair
Winchester is the venue for the Boomtown Fair holding for five days from the 7th to the 11th of August, 2019. This year’s event will feature popular musicians from the UK and abroad. You have the legendary band UB40, Chronixx, Prophets of Rage, The Streets, Groove Armada, Chase & Status, Slaves and Ms Lauryn Hill.
Boomtown Fair features eclectic, non-commercial music from around the world. It is a period for diverse arts, culture and theatre to run riot in a peaceful and harmonious setting. This Fair features nine different districts each focusing on a particular theatre of interest.
