Gaming on the Console
Looking for a hot new Xbox or PlayStation title to get wrapped up in? There’s only one game that will do and that happens to be a reboot of the iconic Saints Row series. The all-new Saints Row game was initially slated for a Feb 2022 release, so you can imagine the anticipation that’s springing up around this one.
This reboot gives gamers a new opportunity to build the Row from the ground up. Johnny Gat and his gang are out and in their place are a whole new crew of intriguing characters, including mechanic/artist Neenah, Eli with his MBA, and prankster DJ Kevin.
While you’ll have to wait until the tail-end of the summer to get your paws on this one – Saint’s Row is all set for widespread release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC on 23rd August 2022 – take it from us when we say it’s worth the wait.
Gaming on the PC
When it comes to gaming on the PC, nothing quite tops the excitement of playing real money slots games – especially when they’re coupled with immersive graphics and engaging storylines – yes, really.
While slots games and their ilk are all strictly 18+ only, nevertheless you don’t need to be an experienced high roller to get a lot of enjoyment out of them. In fact, online slots appeal to a pretty huge demographic of people from all walks of life.
For summer 2022, trustworthy developers like Microgaming and Pragmatic Play are rolling out slots inspired by hit TV shows, including Peaky Blinders and Game of Thrones. Paired up with a tasty free spins bonus from an online platform, these games are simply unmissable.
Gaming on Mobile
Mobile gaming has come a long, long way in recent years. So much so that gaming insiders believe mobile to be the future of the gaming industry. Having seen just what’s been possible on the mobile platform via games like Genshin Impact and Call of Duty, we’re inclined to agree.
For summer 2022 there’s only one mobile genre on our minds and that is mobile RPG. We’re pretty much spoilt for choice when it comes to new releases of role-playing games on both Android and iOS, but the most intriguing is Eversoul.
As of April 2022, this Korean game is still in development, but it should be hitting app stores soon. Developer Kakao is keeping things pretty hush-hush; however, from what we’ve seen in trailers and sneakpeeks, this game is gorgeous and will certainly be a worthy rival to Genshin.
