We’re at a point in time where Rammstein’s fame has skyrocketed beyond everyone’s imagination. However, this doesn’t counter the fact that Rammstein was made for greatness. Right from time, when they dropped their debut studio album, “Herzeleid,” in 1995; we knew that this was one German band that would play a significant role in the entertainment industry.
They didn’t disappoint with their craft which has been described, as “Unique,” in many aspects. Rammstein has completely changed the “industrial metal” musical game. It’s proof enough that they managed to win millions of fans through their debut album.
Today, the band is recognized all around the world. Rammstein has dropped 8 studio albums. Rammstein has also toured the world 12 times while using their albums as the foundations of these tours.
Their success is measured by the millions of album units sold worldwide. That’s aside from the millions of tickets they’ve also sold for all their tours. This has placed the band’s net worth at the top of the list, with Christoph Schneider, Rammstein’s drummer having an estimated net worth of $16 million.
The band is currently on their 12th tour which is, the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.” It started in 2019 and will be ending this year. Every year has its customized setlist, since there are 2 studio albums – “Untitled,” and “Zeit,” – backing up the tour’s setlist.
Among the cities “Rammstein Stadium Tour” will be visiting is Barcelona, which is located in Spain, for a 1-day concert. The band has visited Spain more than 3 times since the tour started, so Barcelonans will be the last people in Spain to host Rammstein.
But, even though Rammstein has visited Spain before, it didn’t suppress the level of anticipation the Barcelonans have for their concert. This has made getting tickets to the concert a bit hard seeing that a lot of people are trying to lay their hands on any available one.
In light of the stress attached to the whole process, we believe an alternative ticket marketplace will be the best option for you to get Rammstein Barcelona Tickets.
Now that you’ve known a little about Rammstein, we’d like to bring back your attention to the main purpose of this article, which is to check out and possibly relive the top 10 amazing moments of Rammstein’s Career.
10. Links 2-3-4
2-3-4 “Links” “Fireeee.” Rammstein’s performance of “Links” is one of the most incredible moments of their career.
It perfectly represents the control they have on their fans, and also their craft. As Till Lindemann, the band’s lead vocalist calls out the numbers, the crowd goes into a sync mood with Richard and Paul, Rammstein’s guitarists, as they pull the strings to their fire-breathing guitars.
We especially like how the light in the stadium is deemed to make the fire-breathing guitars have more effect. Truly a terrific sight to behold.
9. Du Riechst So Gut
This moment captures Till Lindemann creating a spiral flame with his bow and arrow. Some fans who were present in the stadium that night confessed that looking at Till at that moment for a long time would’ve hypnotized them.
Although that wasn’t the intent of the performance, it wasn’t hard for it to get to that extent. This would make you wonder about the level of rehearsals the band had to undergo just to be able to pull up a performance such as this.
8. ‘Buck Dich’ Slave March
‘Buck Dich’ Slave March featured Rammstein members crawling on their legs and hands while being chained like dogs.
There came Christoph Schneider, wielding the leash while the rest of the band members, (supposedly the dogs/slaves) pulled him. There have been many definitions of this moment; with some saying it has a deeper meaning than revealed.
However, as the name entails, it was a representation of how people tend to become slaves of life. Working long hours for little pay, which is not enough to survive on, causes one to bend over due to stress.
In the end, a lot of people are “bent over” by life, and this is the perfect description of the scene.
7. ‘Engel’ Wings
‘Engel’ Wings features Rammstein’s lead vocalist, Till Lindemann hanging from 2 cables, with iron wings. The wings breathe fire at some time, as he sings.
Although the wings seemed to be realistic from a point of view, he was not mobile, but static while singing.
His feet weren’t touching the ground as well. We’re sure the team had to consider and play by a lot of safety rules to make this performance a success. Even though Rammstein is known to defy the ordinary from time to time.
6. ‘Pus*y’ Cannon
‘Pus*y’ Cannon was a gut performance by Rammstein. The moment captured one of the band members using the ‘Pus*y’ Cannon to shoot out what looked like confetti to the crowd that was below the stage.
The confetti looks white and harmless to the people it landed on. Some media outlets described it to be white feathers.
The performance went on for a couple of minutes, with the cannon-wielding band member going from one side of the stage to the other, shooting out the confetti.
5. Rammstein
“Rammstein” is one of the incredible performances of the band. The whole members wore bizarre costumes, while Till Lindemann was on fire in his costume.
Till sort of looked like Arthur from the popular series, “Merlin,” in this performance. But, the only difference is that he was on fire. A scene that looked like Merlin’s dragon decided to breathe fire on him.
4. Mein Teil
Mein Teil was an incredible performance by Rammstein where Till repeatedly tried to cook “Flake,” AKA Christian Lorenz, the band’s Synthesizer on stage.
Flake was in a pot on stage, while Till held a fire-breather, that has a close resemblance to the flame thrower used during the World War era.
The moment featured Flake popping out the pot, and back into it as soon as Till lets out the fire from his flame thrower.
3. ‘Fever Frei’ Fire Masks
As the name implies, “Fire Masks” was one of the craziest performances by Rammstein ever since they began live entertainment.
The band members had masks of fire, which allowed them to breathe out fire amidst their performance.
A lot of fans found this to be dangerous. But again, it only shows the level Rammstein is willing to go, just to bring to their fans entertainment like never seen before.
2. 1996 Accident
This is supposed to be one of the scariest moments of Rammstein’s career, but the team handled it so well that it became one of the most amazing moments of their career, earning a spot on this list.
Unlike most of the moments listed here, this moment was captured with the team performing without shirts.
Amidst the concert, the barrier mounted on top of the stage where Till and other members were performing fell.
Luckily, no one was hurt. The band didn’t stop their performance as well. While some of the members tried to look into the matter, the song continued playing in the background, as the safety team rushed to put out the fire.
Overall, the night ended so well that this turned out to be remembered as one of the amazing moments of Rammstein’s career.
1. ‘Du Hast’ Cannon
We saved the best for the least. There’s still a lot of confusion as to how Rammstein was able to pull this off.
The moment was captured when Till Lindemann held up a cannon and then shot out laser-like shots. Halfway into the sky, the shots turned into fireworks, making their way back to the stage and exploding.
The performance was a crazy one. At that moment, people who had no idea why they loved Rammstein instantly found the reason why.
