When preparing for any UK holiday, it’s a good idea to prepare for various weather conditions. And, it’s good to know that the UK is still the perfect place to experience a hot tub holiday, despite any temperamental weather.

If you don’t happen to be experiencing the best weather at the time you want to begin your holiday, here are some tips on how to enjoy it on your next break.

You’d be surprised to know that there are many ways to experience hot tub breaks in all weathers and hot tubbing in the rain makes for a brand-new experience!

When not to enter your hot tub

Yes, you can have fun in your hot tub during different weather conditions, but it is safest to enter during minimal rainfall and is an experience that you’ll always remember.

But, never enter during a thunderstorm, as a hot tub is a great conductor of electricity.

During a thunderstorm, enjoy the weather from inside at a safe distance, and play games inside whilst you hear the sound of a storm and take in its beauty.

But when the thunderstorm has completely stopped, you’re okay to head back into the tub!

Bring rainwear

If you know you’re going to be experiencing various weather types, remember to bring rainwear that can protect you from any potential rainfall – not only if you’re hot tubbing, but adventuring around your holiday destination.

Bring rain hats, coats and umbrellas, so you can still enjoy the tub. Remember to wear some form of footwear, so you lessen the chances of any slipping on the deck outside your hot tub. You can enjoy the raindrops beating down on your umbrella in a soothing rhythm.

If you’re feeling brave, you can glance away from your umbrella, so you can look up at the beautiful sky as it trickles down on you!

Keep useful equipment nearby

When entering and exiting the tub in bad weather, you want to make sure that the towels (that you can warm up beforehand), slippers and robes are close by, so that you can immediately keep cosy.

By doing so, hopefully the transition from the hot tub to your holiday room won’t be too bad – then you can properly warm up!

Cover your tub

As you’re leaving your hot tub, remember to cover it, so you don’t let too much heat escape when it’s not in use. You want to preserve the heat, so it’s ready for your next dip.

Treat yourself to a hot drink

To help you keep warm after exiting the tub, make some hot drinks to treat yourself and others.

Make it even fancier with a luxury hot chocolate that you can make together, decorated with your chosen toppings. Then, you can sit back and listen to the soothing rain sounds from the comfort of your holiday home – you could even cosy up with a movie!

Don’t let certain weather conditions determine your hot tub holiday, with these tips to help you prepare for the best break yet!
