“Guts World Tour” is planned to contain 77 shows, scattered across 3 legs in different countries including England, Ireland, and Belgium. Ticket sales already started a few months back with Ticketmaster reporting an overwhelming force in demand.

The demand by Olivia’s fans contributed to her decision to add more dates to the tour. So, you can alternatively get Olivia Rodrigo tickets from a marketplace before the tour kick starts next year in February.

Here are 8 songs to expect in Olivia’s “Guts World Tour.”

“All-American Bitch”

“All-American Bitch” is the opening single on Olivia’s second studio album, “Guts,” which was released in September 2023.

The song is divided into two sections that are synchronized together. It starts with a rhythmic folklore song that eventually transforms into a pop-punk.

One of the reasons this song will maintain its spot as the No.1 song on the Guts World Tour setlist is because of the story behind its lyrics. Olivia wrote this song when she was 19 and said, 19 was the age she was confused, made many mistakes, and was full of awkwardness.

In an interview for Apple Music, Olivia said she loves “All-American Bitch” and that it is one of her favorite songs that she has ever written.

“Bad Idea Right?”

The 2nd song on our list, and presumably the 2nd song on the Guts setlist is “Bad Idea Right?” This was released on the 11th of August, a month before the album, “Guts” was released.

Before the release of the song, Olivia sent an email that reads, “The song is pretty different from ‘Vampire’ & shows another side of Guts that’s a little more fun & playful.” And we feel Rodrigo will want her show to display this excitement hence creating one more reason to add it to the setlist of her 2024 tour.

Upon its release, “Bad Idea Right?” reached the No.1 spot on the Best 10 Songs of 2023 published by Time, making it one of the best songs from the “Guts” album.

“Vampire”

In an exclusive interview, Olivia revealed that “Vampire” reflected the compressed anger people usually have towards an avoidable situation that they helplessly find themselves in.

“Vampire” was produced on the 30th of June by Dan Nigro, Olivia’s No.1 producer. The song received global recognition mostly because the lyrics reflected a lot of people’s lives. It topped the charts in many countries, including the UK, the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

Considering the popularity of the song, and also its construction, it will be one of the leading songs when the Guts World Tour begins next year additionally because the song has a special connection to Rodrigo’s past romantic life.

“Lacy”

Olivia wrote “Lacy” together with Dan Nigro who later produced the song. It was released on the 8th of September through her 2nd studio album, “Guts.”

The lyrics of the song reveal Olivia’s obsession with the beauty of another female who is presumably named “Lacy.” One of the analyses the song was subjected to was related to the LGBT because of the implications in its lyrics.

Rodrigo’s fans have gone to the extent of searching for the true identity of “Lacy,” even though Olivia said she got the inspiration for the song from a poem she wrote when she was in school, thereby dismissing the speculations that a female secret lover inspired the song.

“Lacy” will be featured in Rodrigo’s setlist because it received impressive recognition when it was released. It reached the top 30 in some major countries like the US and Ireland while topping the charts in other countries.

“Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl”

“Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” has been presented a couple of times by Olivia and the co-writer, Dan Nigro, during live performances. On October 9th during an exclusive show, and on October 24th while on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” was released on the 8th of September through the album, “Guts,” and has since received major attention, earning Rodrigo a “Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song.”

The song reflects the life of a girl who finds absolute discomfort in social activities. A report by PopBuzz stated that the song also revealed Olivia’s obsession with boys who are not straight, but there are no confirmations of this.

“Making the Bed”

Unlike some of her songs in “Guts,” “Making the Bed” talks about her choices as a musician and the consequences she’s had to deal with, one of which includes the lack of privacy as a celebrity.

Ever since she reached stardom, Olivia has occasionally complained about the stress of it all. She did the same thing in “All American Bitch” where she talked about a compressed anger.

Cosmopolitan, in a post, defined the lyrics to be more of living with the consequences of your actions or decisions. The post added, “You’ve made your bed, now lie in it.”

There’s no doubt that “Making the Bed” will also be featured in the setlist of the Guts World Tour.

“Get Him Back!”

“Get Him Back!” was released on the 15th of September, a few days after the album, “Guts” came out. The song received massive recognition mostly because it was a complete story of Olivia’s love life.

One comment that got the attention of people most was that of Lauren Puckett-Pope. It says, “Get Him Back!” “riffs on the dual interpretation of [the] words: ‘get him back’ as in restore the relationship, and ‘get him back’ as in procure revenge.”

Olivia further revealed that she experienced conflicting feelings about someone who she occasionally fantasized about.

“The Grudge”

“The Grudge” is the 10th song on the Guts album, and it was released on the 8th of September through the aforementioned album.

Olivia described “The Grudge” to be a song about someone she once admired, and even though things didn’t go as planned, she still loves that person.

The song contested the No.16 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 – US when it was released and also reached the top 20 on other country charts like Canada and Australia.

Lyrically, “The Grudge” was a means for Olivia to express her devastation at the fact that she loved someone who deceived her, and admit that she still finds it hard to let go.
