Exposed Magazine

Has all the recent bad weather got you longing for a holiday? Worried about the cost of venturing abroad?

Then don’t worry because we’ve hand-picked some of the best destinations to bag the cheapest deals from your local airports – and without cutting corners on your holiday.

Here’s what we’ve found:

Flights from Doncaster Sheffield Airport

According to our recent search on Skyscanner.net, you could be jetting off Spain for just £70 or Portugal for £95 in July. Or, if you’d rather enjoy a cultural city break, there’s Poland (from £53), Hungary (from £35) and the Netherlands (from £35).

Got your heart set on Italy or Greece? Then don’t worry because flights here are still relatively cheap at £98 and £139, respectively.

And the best bit?

As Doncaster Sheffield Airport is still relatively small, it boasts such a laidback vibe that’ll have you relaxing in style before you even step foot on the plane!

Flights from East Midlands Airport

It’s even easier to bag a bargain at this airport with trips to France, Spain and Portugal starting from £25, £36 and £44 in July, respectively. Italy and Greece will only set you back about £60 or £70, too.

Or, if you can spare a little extra cash and fancy trying somewhere a little more exotic this year, flights to Morocco are available at as little as £146.

Flights from Leeds Bradford

If Italy is your ultimate destination, Leeds Bradford Airport is the one for you with flights starting at £40 for July. Spain and Portugal are just £38 and £45, respectively, too.

Or, for other alternative destinations, there’s Malta (£56), Greece (£72) and the Netherlands (£77).

Got a bit more budget to spare?

Then £122 could get you to Croatia, £128 to Turkey and £139 to Morocco.

Other Ways to Save Money

Now that you’ve found your flights, why not save some extra cash by chipping in for cheap Villa Plus accommodation (you can save loads by dividing the cost between large groups)? Self-catered accommodation can also see you spending less on food and drink as you can buy in bulk at the local supermarkets (which are often far cheaper than the UK).

Equally, if you are travelling in a group and will all need some currency, you should be able to get a better deal if you get all of your currency together – especially with the current exchange rates being less than ideal.

Then all that’s left to do is beg and plead for a free taxi journey to the airport from your nearest and dearest!

Armed with all of the above, you’ll be jetting off into the sunset in no time at all.
