A brand new day and night jazz festival celebrating the new wave of musicians pushing the boundaries of jazz is coming to Yellow Arch Studios on Sunday 5th of May Bank Holiday.

Launched by the venue itself, the festival will begin at 3pm and run ’til late across two stages, in the main event space and outside in the courtyard alongside street food. Yellow Arch have pulled together an eclectic line up of bands and DJs to soundtrack an evening of forward thinking jazz, with headline sets coming from Leeds based Noya Rao, and Allysha Joy, the singer of Rhythm Section International’s acclaimed band 30/70.

Also performing is Sheffield’s first Poet Laureate, Otis Mensah. With tickets starting at just £7.50 this promises to be a great day out on Mayday Bank Holiday, and aims to path the way towards an exciting new direction for Yellow Arch Studios. DJ sets come from house and disco promoters Pretty Pretty Good and Mizik Nou, as well record label and collective, Blancmange Lounge.

Tickets are available from £7.50 here.
