To commemorate the centenary of women’s vote, Cinema For All have organised two events on November 24th. Centred around their newly-commissioned short film, Vote 100: Born a Rebel, a collection of footage from the Yorkshire, North East and North West Film Archives featuring incredible inspiring female activists over the past 100 years.
Tickets will cost £3/2 for the afternoon, £5/3 for the evening, and £7/5 for the entire event, which takes place at Yellow Arch Studios.
Afternoon event: 2-5pm
Following the screening of Vote 100: Born A Rebel, there will be a discussion lead by a group of thriving and captivating women that is composed of Dani Abulhawa, Clare Midgley and Auriel Majumdar from Sheffield Hallam University along with Gail Gibbons (Sheffield Futures) and Annalisa Toccara (Our Mel).
