The Village Screen’s outdoor screening of Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel at Kenwood Hall has been cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions.
The screening was planned to take place tomorrow (12 October) but the predicted weather has forced the event to be cancelled. Village Screen said: “We hate disappointing our lovely customers but exceptionally strong winds are predicted for tomorrow. Gusts of 40mph are expected throughout the day which would compromise the safety of our event and equipment.
“We are gutted to let you down but we are having to cancel this event and want to give you as much notice as possible. Winds like this are rare and we do not cancel events lightly but we have to put the health and safety of our customers and staff first.”
“You will be contacted by email by Gigantic tickets today and full refunds will be issued automatically. Please feel free to contact us if you have any issues or questions. We hope to see you at a future event!”
