The Showroom will host a number of exclusive screenings as part of The UK Green Film Festival which takes place nationwide between the 4th and 11th May.

The festival, now in its seventh year, brings together the best environmentally-themed films from around the world to selected cinemas in the UK. It’s rapidly becoming one of the biggest touring cinema events in Europe

Kicking things off in Sheffield on the 8th May will be The Age of Consequences, a film which explores the risk of climate change and resource scarcity through the lens of US national security and global stability. The film’s unnerving assessment is a call to action to rethink how we use and produce energy.

On the 9th May the award-winning When Two Worlds Collide will take audiences directly into the line of fire between Peruvian leaders who will stop at nothing to keep their respective goals intact. Filmmakers Heidi Brandenburg and Mathew Orzel capture all angles of a volatile political and environmental crisis with breath-taking access and bold, unflinching camera work.

Tickets for the above screenings are available at the www.showroomworkstation.org.uk
