The University of Sheffield’s Music Culture Society is thrilled to be hosting its first ever festival on the 24th June (13:00-23:00). The festival will include a variety of acts that will be playing on both stages at Sidney&Matilda, with all profits being donated towards the Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation, in collaboration with the Sheffields Students Union’s Raising and Giving Team.
The festival represents the ambition of this society, as well as demonstrating the sort of event that students in Sheffield are capable of putting on. We are also extremely happy to be supporting the Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation; as a society made up of people who just love music.

‘Tuned In’ will feature the up-and-coming Nottingham band Cucamaras headlining the 200-capacity basement stage, while being supported by local acts such as Nervous Pills, Workfriends and Dramatic//Automatic. The smaller venue will be headlined by Dot To Dot Festival veterans Vono Vella and supported by bands like Peddler Market performer Anya Lace, who has previously performed at Tramlines. The lineup for the festival will feature a diverse mix of Sheffield talent as well as Nottingham-based bands.
As well as live music, the festival will include a charity raffle, with prizes being a signed Do Nothing poster, a Music Culture Society football top and various other prizes donated by independent Sheffield businesses.
The event will be open from 1pm, with the first act starting at 2pm. The tickets will cost £10 and will be exchanged for a wristband on the day of the festival at Sidney&Matilda, giving you access to both stages of the festival.
