Following the launch of their first venue, True North Brew Co has played a major role within the communities of Sheffield and Barnsley, organising many local projects, community festivals and charity events over their time.
Ahead of Christmas, True North Co will be serving up delicious, hot meals with a view to cater for the patients of St Luke’s Hospice and Barnsley Hospice. Donations will come from the sale of specialized food and drink items, allowing customers the knowledge that their money will be helping out a great cause.
Krissie Akrill from True North Brew Co has a continuing relationship with both of organisations and has played a fundamental role in the fundraising campaign. She said, “It’s amazing to work for a company that helps the local community and raise money for good causes. Here at True North, we’re passionate about good food and this Christmas, we want to share that passion with the patients at St Luke’s Hospice and Barnsley Hospice. We aim to raise as much as possible over the coming weeks to provide as many hot meals as we can.”
In hopes of raising as much money as possible, each venue will be asking for £1 from each purchase of elected foods and drinks. For more information on specific food/drink items, head over to the facebook page here.
The funds will be raised over the next three weeks in order for the final amount to be donated in time for Christmas. The venues taking part in the fundraiser campaign are:
Forum Kitchen + Bar | The Common Room | The Devonshire | The York | Riverside Kelham | The Blue Stoops | The British Oak | Crown & Anchor | The Waggon & Horses | The Broadfield
