The Village Screen will be hosting an array of adventure films favourites at the spectacular location of Peak Cavern from 30 May to 9 June.


The Village Screen are renowned for creating immersive cinematic experiences in unexpected places. So far, they have screened classic films in the likes of Edwardian swimming pools, woodland areas and monasteries. This will be the third time the company has held a pop up cinema at the stunning Peak Cavern cave. The cave has proved popular amongst audiences who have described it as a “truly amazing experience”.

Over the course of the first weekend, the Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody, cult thriller The Lost Boys and Spielberg classic Jurassic Park will be shown. While the following weekend will see a second screening of The Lost Boys, along with captivating horror The Descent and the iconic adventure films Batman Returns and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

In addition to the usual cinema treats, there will be a variety of street food and selection of drinks on offer. Live music will be played before each screening to help audiences relax and settle in before the main event.
