The Mowbray is set to welcome back the Italian Canteen to their Supper Club, on Friday the 17th September.

It’s no secret that the Mowbray love the Italian way of cooking and eating. It’s a constant source of foodie inspiration for the venue, and The Italian Canteen has always been one of their most popular Supper Clubs and they’ve recently announced plans to whip up a late summer feast for you!

You will be able to book seats ‘Up On The Roof’ for pre-dinner drinks from their outdoor cocktail bar from 5pm-7pm – just be sure to let them know if you’d like to join them early by leaving  a note in the comments box when you book. If the weather isn’t playing ball, you can join them at The Bar in The Mowbray instead.

Bellisimo! Expect a true Italian feast next month of Mowbray!

The Mowbray always work seasonally with the best ingredients they can get hold of fresh from the market – so expect a plentiful, abundant feast! They are still finalising a few things on their menu, but they know that there will be: roasted sardines dressed with lemon, parsley, toasted pine nuts and raisins, and giant hunks of Mowbray-made rosemary and sea salt focaccia. There are also rumours of an epic Lamb ragu that they will be updating us on soon.

As ever – the Canteen will be a rolling feast that just keeps coming, always rounded off by a worthy pud. They have a great option available for vegetarians and vegans and they usually start inviting guests to take their seats around 7pm, ready for service around 7.30pm.
