Following the previous success of their Sheffield ‘pop up’ in February of this year, The Big Swap are back this May at Heist Brew Co. Aiming to provide opportunities for sustainable and inclusive fashion, the event has so far circulated over 8000 pieces of clothing and raised £9000 for charity.
The event will take place on Saturday 11th May, 11:00-16:00, where people will have the opportunity to bring and takeaway up to 10 pieces of clothing, giving individuals the chance to be part of a sustainable community and repurpose clothing which otherwise would have been destroyed. Anything left over will be donated to their partner charity, White Rose, who will distribute the items across their 18 stores across the country.
Tickets are priced at £14 and include a 15% offer on all food and drink stalls which range from new smoked BBQ vendors to Heist’s well-stocked bar. Head to eventbrite.co.uk and grab yours!
