Sheffield is welcoming some of the UK’s best street artists to display their work at the Brick(2)Brick exhibit at the newly opened Brick Gallery on Abbeydale Road, which launches this week.
The contemporary art exhibition will showcase selected street artists, graffiti writers and illustrators that have embraced the city as their canvas including Tom J Newell, Alie Kungu, Barr Knee, Bob 2 and Cement Bootz. The exhibit will run from 30th June to 30th July, open from 10:30am-6pm most days, and is free for all. The gallery’s aim is to play off the existing landscape of the city and use the post industrial area to show how a space can be used for expression and made vibrant again.
