Roses the Bakers, a third-generation family bakery in Sheffield, has been named the best bakery in Yorkshire and The Humber at the prestigious National Bakery Awards in London. The awards ceremony was held at Euston Square and was hosted TV personality Mark Durden-Smith.
Organised by Bakery Business Magazine, the awards recognise the best bakeries in the UK. Roses the Bakers was selected from a field of over 1,000 entries and competed based on several factors including: the quality of the bakery’s products, customer service, their commitment to innovation, and their contribution to the local community. The entries were reviewed by a panel of judges who are industry experts.
Being named the best bakery in Yorkshire is a huge honour for any small business. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and service. We are excited to continue to grow our business and to share our passion for baking with even more people.
Roses the Bakers was founded in 1940 and is the oldest remaining family-owned bakery business in Sheffield. The bakery is known for its traditional breads, pastries, cakes and sandwiches and has five stores across the city. They also offer online ordering with click and collect to wholesale to businesses in the area. Their most popular item is their signature loaf, made with malted wheat and golden syrup, and is a hit both locals and visitors alike.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been named the best bakery in Yorkshire and The Humber,” said Seuranie, owner of Roses the Bakers. “This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who are passionate about baking the best possible breads and pastries. We are so grateful to our customers for their support over the years.”
