Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, Kings of Leon and Panic! at the Disco are the first wave of headliner acts announced to play at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ Bramham Park this August bank holiday weekend (24th – 26th).


Joining them will be *deep breath* Courteeners, The Vaccines, J Hus, Travis Scott, The Kooks, Post Malone, The Wombats, Skepta, Sum 41, Travis Scott, Wolf Alice, Dua Lipa, J Hus, Pendulum and many others amongst the top rock, dance, alternative and urban acts scene across the various stages.

Dance fans will have their fill with the likes of legends such as Annie Mac, Birmingham breakthrough DJ favourite Hannah Wants, Bristolian duo My Nu Leng and American genius and Major Lazer co-creator, Diplo.

And it doesn’t stop there. Headlining the BBC Music Introducing stage are South Yorkshire’s The Blinders who have taken the live circuit by storm with their blend of proto punk politics, and psychedelia laden lyricism.

Still with us? We’ve got more – Hollywood Undead, Papa Roach, Ms Banks, Kate Nash, Pale Waves, Sigrid, Wretch 32, Krept X Konan, Don Broco, Nothing But Thieves, Deaf Havana, Tom Grennan, The Horrors, Lady Leshurr and Slaves.

With over two hundred acts expected to play this summer, Reading and Leeds will again be the unmissable festival weekend for music lovers this year. Don’t forget the Alternative Stage as well which will be offering a world-leading comedy line-up involving Harry Hill, Seann Walsh, Lee Nelson and Mo Gilligan. ‘Man’s Not Hot’ rapper/comedy star Big Shaq will also be making a very special comedy appearance at Leeds Festival only.

For those of you who want to make the most of it, Leeds Festival have announced their Late Night at Leeds Festival line up – bringing the best in late night partying across stages old and new. Expect DJ’s, visual spectacles, and music galore – keeping festival-goers partying all the way back to their campsites well into the night and beyond!

Leeds early birds are also in for a treat as local record label Dance To The Radio take over the Festival Republic Stage on Thursday night. You’ll be hearing fresh new sounds from indie pop shoe-gazers Far Caspian, dark-edged guitar driven rock from The Blinders and lots more.
