After the success of their Spring Cave Cinema experiences this year at Peak Cavern, The Village Screen are returning for a one-off Spielberg Spectacular weekend this June.
Audience members can expect to be immersed inside an incredible natural environment, while watching some of Spielberg’s classics, projected onto a large 21ft screen with incredible sound and beautiful lighting. Films include Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, Jurassic Park, Hook and last year’s Westside Story.
These events have been described as “truly amazing experiences” with a “phenomenal” atmosphere because they are more than just a cinema. Guests can expect live music in the car park area of the cave pre-show, street food from some of the region’s finest traders, pop-up bars, a fantastic cinematic experience inside the cave and a drinks and snacks delivery service to their seats during each film.
Guests can even add on Snuggle Packages and write messages to be displayed on the cinema screen before each film screening, as well as enjoy a few additional surprises that make these events even more memorable.
The Village Screen has been running cinematic experiences at the Peak Cavern cave since 2017 and have put on 70 cave events to date. They are a small, independent, events production team, and work tirelessly to deliver great experiences for their customers. They will be on hand at each event to great you with a smile and ensure you are well looked after from start to finish.
The Village Screen will be popping up from Thursday 9th June to Sunday 12th June. After this, they will next be back at Peak Cavern for Halloween, so keep an eye on their website and socials for all the details.
