Orchard Square is back this Saturday for its biggest Makers Market yet, with 17 stalls showcasing creativity from across Sheffield.
Based in the heart of the city centre, the popular Makers Market is set to attract shoppers to its independent artisanry, boasting a huge range of hand-crafted goods.
“Once again, we are proud to offer a fabulous and unique line up of local and regional craft, art, and food makers in the Square, reflecting the wealth of home grown talent that we house here in Yorkshire,” said Orchard Square Manager Shay Murray.
One such maker is Char Knots, an eco-conscious, plastic-free macrame artist putting sustainability at the core of her work. She is joined by other vendors focusing on rescuing and upcycling materials, including Low Road Home’s decoupage creations and handmade greetings cards.
Among the food vendors is popular bakery Forge Bakehouse, who have recently announced their expansion beyond Sheffield to new sites in Chesterfield and Dronfield.
Shay Murray added: “We look forward to welcoming stall holders and shoppers to Orchard Square and Sheffield City Centre on 6th July: come and see for yourself what fabulous items are on offer.”
