A tragic tale of a divided family and impossible loves is set in motion by the return of a father to his family farm. The battle setting father against son for control over the estate is enflamed by the young new wife which accompanies the father. While drawing on Greek myth this is a play which has the ability to still shock audiences.

The Kite Runner

Khaled Hosseini’s haunting tale of shattered childhoods and the difficult process of redemption is being brought to the Lyceum as part of this UK tour. The book both startled and charmed audiences with its gripping story of a divided Afghanistan, and its haunting power is very much still present in the stage production.
