Be transported through an avant-garde world, with the synthy-sounds of Livia Rita’s new album FUGA FUTURE who’s performing at DINA venue next week.
Developed under the supervision of Lindsay Kemp (David Bowie) and Lea Anderson at the Barbican, Livia’s act has been described as ‘Bjork on three tabs of LSD.’ Her music is a collision of queer utopia and eco-feminism.
She explores unconventional ways of performing her synthesizer-drenched sounds. The night, ‘Kissing Futures’ is expected to be an eclectic mix of performance, activism and music, providing a platform for young voices for them to share their hopes about the future.
The performance will feature a surreal 4D video creating a tantalising live show which will be supported by Avantgardeners Collective and other Sheffield-based acts.
For fans of James Blake, Kate Bush and Grimes, the release of Livia’s debut single, ‘Just Happier’ is a taster of what is to come from the fresh new act. She is set to release another single on 8th November.
Tickets for the event, happening on 13th November are available here.
