Meadowhall is teaming up with a range of local experts and businesses this spring to launch an innovative series of creative classes designed to connect the community and enhance visitor experience.

The Sessions, a collection of interactive workshops, tastings and masterclasses, will feature everything from gin tasting to soap making. A first of its kind, the programme will provide shoppers throughout the region with an opportunity to socialise whilst learning and developing new skills.

The initiative will also support local incubation businesses in the process, showcasing all the many talented and inspirational specialists in the area that will be delivering the events. Hosted on the centre’s Park Lane, within a carefully-crafted pop-up unit, The Sessions will further cement Meadowhall’s position as a multi-purpose destination for the community.

Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, said: “We’re extremely excited about the launch of The Sessions. We know from talking to our customers that coming to Meadowhall is about so much more than shopping, it’s about experience, and so we’re evolving our retail space to reflect that.”
