Britain’s Got Talent Winner, Lee Ridley, aka, Lost Voice Guy has just announced a UK tour, and luckily for us he’ll be stopping by The Leadmill next spring.
He may not be able to speak but he has plenty to say, and he’s bloody well funny.
He is the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid and his unique approach to comedy has endeared him to the nation. He’s been on the comedy circuit for years, performing solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as at other popular comedy venues. After years of hard graft, he has finally shot to stardom and is now widely recognised after his appearance on the talent show.
On top of his recent BGT win, Lee (Lost Voice Guy), has also previously won the BBC New Comedy Award 2014. He also has TV credits including The One Show and Voice of the People. You may also have heard him on the radio waves, as he co-wrote and appeared in the Radio 4 series, Ability.
Simon Cowell described him as “incredibly talented” and as having “such a naughty sense of humour” by Alesha Dixon. So it looks as if The Leadmill is in for a night of very rude, very original comedy.
Catch Lost Voice Guy at The Leadmill 2 March 2019. Tickets are available from £15 via The Leadmill website.
