After running a hugely popular Wednesday night Comedy Club for five years and a successful comedy festival back in June, The Leadmill is upping the ante by adding an additional monthly weekend comedy night to their books.
If you’ve been to The Leadmill Wednesday night Comedy Club you’ll know it’s a barrel of laughs, and the introduction of their new weekend club is sure to get you laughing even more. As usual, they will be presenting the very best acts from the UK’s prestigious comedy club circuit.
They’ve got a crackin’ line up planned for their first weekend show, including headliner Geoff Norcott, who recently appeared on BBC2’s Live at the Apollo, and Club Comic of the Year Tom Ward.
And the evening doesn’t stop with the comedy. If you’re looking to make a night of it you get free entry after the show to dance the night away at their club nights Sonic/GAGA, which plays everything from Indie, Rock & Britpop to Soul, Ska & Motown.
The first weekend comedy club is on Saturday 24th February. Doors are at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
Tickets are priced at £12.50 for unreserved seats, £54 for reserved table for 4 or £135 reserved table for 10. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office on 0114 27 27 040 or via The Leadmill website.
