Scotland’s ‘best band of all time’ have announced three UK gigs, playing a wide variety of tunes back from their debut album in 1996 to their latest in 2018.

Since 1996, Belle And Sebastian have blossomed from cult outsiders into Scotland’s best loved band. After wowing critics with their first albums ‘Tigermilk’ and ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’, the band became a household name beating Steps to a BRIT award in 1999.

Having been labelled as the best Scottish band of all time by readers of Edinburgh/Glasgow mag, The List in 2005, Belle and Sebastian are still alive and kicking following the release of their 10th studio album ‘How To Solve Our Human Problems’ in 2018.

Fans at the gig can expect classics such as ‘The State I Am In’ and ‘Get Me Away From Here, I’m Dying’ to newer hits such as ‘The Party Line’ and ‘Nobody’s Empire’.

Three UK gigs are coming up in July with Sheffield’s The Leadmill being one of them, taking place on Tuesday 2 July with doors opening at 17:30.

Tickets for the event are on presale Wednesday 27 March whereas general sale begins on Friday 29 March, they are priced at £29.50. leadmill.co.uk
