GET TOGETHER festival today announces it is set to return to Sheffield in 2023 with a new home and ambitious new plans.
For its third edition, the popular festival will swap its previous home at the University of Sheffield Student’s Union campus, for the warehouses, breweries, studios and bars of Kelham Island and Neepsend.
GET TOGETHER is a celebration of the very best in independent music, food and drink, and culture.
Since its launch in 2020, the festival has hosted a diverse and wide-ranging line-up of artists from various genres and known for hosting stages in unique and interesting locations.
Previous guests have included Self Esteem, Confidence Man, Tim Burgess, Ibibio Sound Machine, Squid and over 100 other artists.
“We’ve been speaking to businesses in Kelham about Get Together for years, but the time is now right” says the festival’s booker, Kieran Crosby. “The move gives us huge amount of scope to be creative and give our audience an even better experience.
“Get Together is all about spending time with your mates – whether that be watching bands, eating amazing food or grabbing a beer. We’re working to make sure that it’s an unforgettable day for the whole area, city and for visitors from afar. I can’t wait to reveal the plans we have in store!”
The festival will be unveiling its line-up in early 2023 but will be making a limited amount of earlybird tickets available on Friday 4th November at 5pm. Tickets are available from their website here.
