The feelgood summertime vibes in Sheffield keep coming following the announcement of The Castlegate Escape – a free street party ran by the the Exchange Street Collective and organised in conjunction with Sheffield City Council
Taking place on Friday 8th June, they’ll be hosting an open-door, community street party with the intention to celebrate diversity and culture in the local community. There’ll be art, music, poetry, street food, and independent businesses on show – with much more to look forward to.
The music line-up includes Otis Mensah, Riders, Inavibe and Andy H, plus talks and showcases from Rite Trax, Yorkshire Artspace and talks from Friends of Sheffield Castle.
With such a varied concoction of things to see, see, hear and eat, we recommend getting yerselves over to Exchange Street. It’ll be open from 4pm-10pm.
If you’re a local artist, musician, foodie or goods trader they want to hear from you! You can send a message to the Exchange Street Collective page or drop an email to exchangestreetcollective@gmail.com
