Perfect for families, gamers are invited to visit up to nine different games-related venues tasked with defeating the evil Warlock Ithrick Steelgore and his minions. Players will earn new abilities and meet new companions all whilst searching for the key to saving the ‘City of Games.’
All you have to do is arrive at Treehouse Board Game Café at any time from the 21st -31st of October, armed with a six-sided dice, and look for the instructions displayed inside and outside each venue.
Conor Clarke, Co-founder of the SGC, said: “After 2 incredibly successful events earlier this year, the Sheffield Games Collective are delighted to be bringing this new family-friendly trail to Sheffield. It’s been built from the ground up to celebrate Sheffield’s culture and history, as well as its strong board game and videogame heritage. Last year’s Game City Adventure Trail was also a huge success, and I’m looking forward to making this an annual event!”
The trail is the third collaboration by the Sheffield Games Collective, who previously raised £1,700 for Roundabout Sheffield and the Ember Games Expo through their successful Charity Game Swap.
The Adventure Game Trail can be played from the 21st October to the 31st October 2022 and begins at the Treehouse Boardgame Cafe, S2 4QF. The trail is completely free to take part in. For more info, head to the event’s website here or find them on socials here.
