The opening weekend of Phlegm’s incredible Mausoleum of Giants exhibition at Eyewitness Works saw thousands of fans flock to the city centre installation hoping to catch a glimpse of the surreal sculptures the artist is known for.
Fans from all over Europe have made the trip to the Steel City to check out the giants, with some fans coming from as far as the United States.
We’ve had visitors from 🇧🇪🇰🇾all over UK Bournemouth Birmingham Bristol London Manchester Glasgow Chesterfield Cardiff 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇧🇪 & many more to see genius of #phlegmgiants & kudos to amazing Sheffield folks who gave up places in queue to let these far flung visitors in ❤️ love you

Queues have been lengthy, with some up to two hours long, but despite this, fans braved the elements of Storm Gareth and took to Twitter to announce that it was worth the wait.
Glad we went to see the #phlegmgiants today – long queue even 20 minutes before opening time, but well worth the wait; brilliant use of the industrial space.https://t.co/VZBG9IUmpC pic.twitter.com/gpGF09Y2qe
