After a short hiatus, the Green Room reopens on Devonshire Street this evening (Thursday, 15 September) with a new house beer ‘The Green Bastard’, a 4 per cent pilsner which will be one of the cheapest pints in town.
The new-look bar will also feature a brand new ‘Beercade’ with classic arcade machines from the 90s, free beer pong, plus a new American Pool room.
Back on the taps, ‘super cheap’ pints of cask will be returning with a bitter and a pale, as well as deals on house spirits and mixers all the time, happy hour offers and after work deals for groups.
There will also be a new fridge beer program alongside a wider selection of low and no alcohol.
Brand new DJs and music will get the party started, still playing the best in Soul, funk, rock n roll, and 80s tunes. Monday night open mic nights are still going ahead every week.
They are also on the lookout for new local artists and bands who want to be booked as they extend their live music offerings. Get in touch direct via greenroomlivemusic@gmail.com.
