Annual adventure festival Cliffhanger is back to show why Sheffield is the outdoor activity capital of the country with a simple motto: ‘See it, try it, do it!’ Setting out to inspire and involve, this free two-day event taking place across various locations will feature professional demonstrations and activities in sports including climbing, mountain biking, running, skateboarding, orienteering and much more. Cliffhanger is perfect for families looking to keep their little ones busy with the summer holidays just around the corner.
Amongst all these exciting activities will be the BMC British Bouldering Championships which returns to pit the nation’s strongest male and female climbers against each other on a purpose-build bouldering wall on Devonshire Green. The festival will open on the evening of Friday 6 July with live music, street food outlets and plenty else to get stuck into before the city centre into a giant outdoor playground On Saturday.
