The Sheffield Showcase, a collaborative festival event between a multitude of arts and culture groups based in the city, returns over the first weekend of September (2nd-4th).
The weekend-long event showcases a variety of cultural activity taking place in the city, featuring film screenings, music performances, art and family-friendly activities – collectively creating a full-weekend programme showcasing the city of Sheffield.
The event will introduce audiences across a shared city-wide ‘showcase’ event to new cultural activity in Sheffield, while giving support to venues and independent organisations.
The weekend programme for the festival will feature events from: Art in the Gardens, ArtWorks, Chance to Dance, Classical Sheffield, Cupola Gallery, GLOAM Gallery, Greentop Circus, Karma Leon’s Kabaret, National Videogame Museum, Off The Shelf, Open Up Sheffield, Reel Steel, Regather, Sheffield Adventure Film Festival, Sheffield Jazz, Sheffield Libraries, Sheffield Museums, University of Sheffield Concerts and Yellow Arch Studios and encourages cultural engagement across the city, while giving support to activity in Sheffield.
